Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the CSR is responsible for the input of alpha-numeric information into the IFS
system, processing contracts in a timely and efficient manner. This position will assist in the execution of superior front-
line service transactions to current and prospective clients.

current and prospective customers. You are efficient, focused and have the ability to support the achievement of IFS’s
business objectives, including growing and sustaining our business through exceptional customer service. You thrive in a
front-line delivery role, with a strong aptitude for processing information and ensuring its accuracy.
Education / Experience:
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration with relevant experience in the Insurance or finance
sector; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 Proven typing skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
 Excellent capabilities in customer service and transaction execution.
 Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or new information.
 Superior interpersonal skills.

Collection Agent

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Collection Agent will support IFS’s business with the recovery of
outstanding payments from personal and commercial clients. In this role, the Collection Agent will communicate
with clients and broker partners, arrange for payments and develop payment plans where appropriate. This
position will execute those plans in order to eliminate any outstanding balances and mitigate IFS’s losses. The
individual will be responsible for collaborating on debt collection efforts with other members of the IFS team,
developing debt collection strategies and plans, monitoring payments to ensure timely collection and maintaining
appropriate records.
Attributes:
As the ideal candidate, you have demonstrated debt collection knowledge and have the proven capability to
successfully dialogue with clients in order to recover outstanding balances or develop effective debt payment
plans. You understand the importance of pursuing an empathetic and supportive approach in these discussions,
while ensuring IFS’s interests are met. Your communications and people skills are superior and you are highly
motivated to achieve positive outcomes. You are collaborative and enjoy a team-based work environment.
Education / Experience:
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration with a minimum of two years relevant
experience in collections, sales, customer service or telemarketing; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
• Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Strong customer-focused service orientation, committed to achieving exceptional service standards.
